We’re back!

Spring training is in full force and Root for the Home Team is getting stretched out and ready to see some ballgames. We’ve taken a lengthy hiatus and that means it’s time for us to ramp up our posts and get ready for another exciting season of baseball.

We hope to see ballgames throughout the region this season and since we’re starting in the spring instead of August, there should be plenty of action for us to cover. As of now, the itinerary is pretty thin, but we’ll continue to add games to the schedule page. I (Joel) am planning to head up to the Ohio Valley in late May and while there plan to visit the Great American Ballpark and Louisville Slugger Field. It’s all tentative, but hopefully it will work out.

We are heading back to Rome and Montgomery at some point this season (rained out in 2011) and will hopefully visit several other MiLB parks throughout the Southeast. As scheduling happens, we’ll keep you updated!

Let’s play ball!
